Science & Technology Solutions for Climate Change Resilience

Renewable Energy

Generation, Transmission, and Usage

Generation: From Solar, wind, water, fusion, fission, oil, gas, hydrogen, waste materials, wood and cellulose materials

Transmission: High Voltage DC, Low Voltage AC, Local Micro and Mini grids, from grid and grid-less, grid stability,

Usage: sustainable usage from home, factory, business, neighborhoods to districts, from mosques to churches and temples. Timer and sensors based usage, smart appliances and devices, from autonomous vehicles to drones and airplanes. better LEDs (more use of CoB LEDs),

Solar: New solar solutions that produce more electricity with less costs and are easily adopted by people and businesses.

New solar cells, new ways of gaining more power from new materials with less footprint, new lightweight PV modules, module-less solar from painted materials, solar films, solar powered vehicles (partially and fully), Solar powered ocean freighters, solar powered airplanes, better solar farms, roadside solar, empty spaces solar, floating solar

Wind: Small and smart turbines for home, factory building usage, ocean platform wind generation, higher elevations wind generation, better usage of wind corridors, combination of wind and solar, better wind farms, better wind blades, high efficiency Helios turbines and blades,

Water: Dams, small dams, hydro power, ocean waves power,

Nuclear Energy Fusion and Fission.  (even though smaller fission nuclear plants are making a comeback as a sustainable source of power generation, our opinion is that developing countries do not have resources to handle high costs of accidents, therefore, fission based nuclear plants should be discouraged and new technologies of fusion energy will be a game changer to produce cheap electricity at the smallest footprint and the least use of materials)
